Liverpool look poised to complete the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Sky Germany, the Dutch international successfully underwent his medical on Tuesday, clearing the final hurdle before the move can be made official.
The Reds are set to trigger a €40 million release clause in Frimpong’s contract to bring the 23-year-old to Anfield.
Frimpong joined Leverkusen from Celtic in January 2021 for a reported fee of €11 million.
Since then, he has developed into a key figure at the BayArena, making 190 appearances, scoring 30 goals, and providing 44 assists.
