Fulham have revived talks with Manchester United over Scott McTominay.
Napoli are interested too but would prefer a loan. Fulham had a £20m bid rejected earlier this month.
McTominay has just one year remaining on his contract with United, although the club has the option to extend it for a further 12 months.
The 27-year-old is a product of United’s academy and has made over 250 appearances for the club since making his debut in April 2017.
He also enjoyed his best-ever goal return for the Red Devils last season, scoring 10 times.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is hoping to use McTominay’s sale to sign a new midfielder
McTominay has spent his entire career with the Red Devils, featuring in over 250 games
However, United may look to move the Scottish international on in order to fund its midfield revamp.
Two players who the Red Devils have a keen eye on are Burnley’s Sander Berge and Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte.
United have made an offer for Berge but are short of their £30m valuation while PSG’s Ugarte is favoured if they drop their asking price.
Ugarte was not involved in PSG’s Ligue 1 season opener against Le Havre last Friday amid the latest transfer speculation.
As it stands, PSG remain happy to proceed with a sale of Ugarte, but they are unwilling to lower from their £52m valuation, which is how much they paid Sporting to sign him in July last year.
Ugarte featured in 37 games for the French heavyweights last season as the club won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
As for Berge, he has not been involved in any of Burnley’s opening two fixtures in the Championship under new boss Scott Parker.
However, Parker stated Berge’s absence for the season opener against Luton was due to ‘a slight knock’, later revealed to be a small quad injury.

The Uruguayan only moved to the French capital last summer from Portuguese side Sporting
Berge is understood to be another midfield option Manchester United are keen on
The Norwegian has not featured for Burnley having picked up a knock late in pre-season
Although Parker had hoped to get Berge back in time for the clash against Cardiff, it ultimately came too soon.
Berge moved to the Clarets from Sheffield United last summer but was unable to halt the club’s slide back down to the Championship.
