According to the pink paper, Furlani and Cardinale will discuss the club’s management until the end of the season. The team is in a challenging situation, 11 points below the top four after three consecutive defeats in Serie A.

Coach Sergio Conceiçao will lead the team against Lecce on Saturday, but the Portuguese is expected to leave at the end of the season.

Furlani and Cardinale will also discuss the long-term plans, especially in terms of finances, as the Rossoneri are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, missing out on substantial incomes for 2025-26.

This issue directly relates to the summer transfer window, during which Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez, and Mike Maignan could leave San Siro.

Another key matter is the appointment of a new sporting director, with Igli Tare and Fabio Paratici seen as the leading candidates for the role.
