Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has tipped Gabriel Jesus to become the club’s top-scorer in the current campaign.
Jesus has had an injury-plagued career with the London giants and he is currently out of action with a groin problem.
The 27-year-old is likely to return after the international break and Martinelli has big hopes on his Brazilian compatriot.
Speaking to Premier League productions, he said: “Top goalscorer will be Gabi Jesus. He is an amazing player and he always scores some nice goals, that is my opinion.”
Bukayo Saka has been the Gunners’ top scorers in recent campaigns. Last year, he netted 20 goals in all competitions.
Jesus has managed a maximum of 23 goals in a single season in his career and he has a challenge to beat Saka this term.
Saka has started brightly with one goal and three assists and he is predicted to perform better than the recent campaign.
Arsenal face Tottenham Hotspur on the road in their next league game.
