Galatasaray leading race to land Man Utd flop

Galatasaray have emerged as frontrunners to land Manchester United flop Tyrell Malacia, according to The Star.

The Dutchman joined the Red Devils from Feyenoord with a big reputation, but he has failed to hit the heights.

A serious knee injury has disrupted his career, and reports claim that he will walk away when his contract expires next summer.

Amidst this, it is reported that Galatasaray have entered the race for the left-back and could seek a winter transfer for him.

United could request a nominal fee for the Netherlands international, who is completely out of favour under Ruben Amorim.

Amorim recently integrated Malacia back into first-team training, but that is primarily to improve his fitness ahead of January.

Harry Maguire‘s contract also expires at the end of the campaign, but the hierarchy are keen to prolong his stay instead.

He has received lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League, but the England star wants to continue with the Red Devils.
