Gary Neville’s comments before 7-0 Liverpool thrashing go viral again after pundit labelled current Man United squad a ‘tough bunch’

  • Gary Neville has not held back in his criticism of Man United this season
  • Neville was signing a different tune when his team faced Liverpool in March
  • Manchester United have snakes in their dressing room, players who are not running. Bruce, Robson, Keane would never allow this – It’s All Kicking Off

Gary Neville has been scathing in his criticism of Manchester United‘s players this season and fans are now using a video of him from earlier to mock the pundit.

United have had a desperately disappointing start to the season with problems on and off the pitch.

Saturday’s 1-0 defeat was the latest in a series of sub-par performances and Neville once again tore into his old club after the game.

‘It’s well below-par, it’s really disappointing,’ said Neville. ‘I don’t want to do their games anymore.

‘I don’t want to watch their games anymore, and that is the saddest indictment that you can have of your football club, when you become bored of watching them, when you become tired of watching them.

‘I love that club and I love the excitement of football but I’m already fearing what’s going to happen at Anfield in two weeks, just purely because I think it could be a miss.’

And that is a far cry from what Neville was saying back in March when United visited Anfield.

A video of the 48-year-old has resurfaced in which he was filming himself alongside Liverpool legend Graeme Souness ahead of kick-off.

‘I’ve never been more relaxed in the last nine years coming as a United fan. You know, this bunch are tough, they’re tough. Martinez, Casemiro.’
