Giovane continues to impress for Verona 

Giovane, another gem uncovered by sporting director Sean Sogliano, is continuing to deliver for Verona in 2025-26. 

His goal against Inter is a testament to his talents, which have been evident right from the very start of his Serie A career. 

Still on 22 years old, Giovane already has a big stint with Corinthians on his CV, before Verona pounced with just a few months remaining on his contract in Brazil. 

Having arrived on a free transfer last summer, there’s now no doubt that he will become one of the next big signings in Serie A. 

Giovane likes to play out wide, he has incredible dribbling skills and plenty of pace. Those who have kept a close eye on him know that he is not a regular goal scorer, despite his technical ability. 

But, his strike against Inter could be the perfect platform to build from, and this season could be one that makes headlines for the young Brazilian.
