Gladbach sign Tabaković on loan

Borussia Mönchengladbach and TSG Hoffenheim make Haris Tabaković’s transfer official.

Haris Tabaković joins Borussia Mönchengladbach on a loan deal for the 2025/26 season. Including three German clubs, the Bosnian has been involved in four transfers in as many years.

“Haris is an experienced and dangerous striker,” said Borussia’s managing director for sport Roland Virkus. “He’s a classic number nine – the kind of physical presence up front who can help us immediately.”

“After very open and trusting discussions with Haris, we have agreed to his request for a loan to Borussia Mönchengladbach,” says Andreas Schicker, Sporting Director at TSG Hoffenheim. “As a classic center forward, Haris has always put himself at the service of the team on the pitch. We wish him all the best for the upcoming season.”

“I’m really excited about this new challenge and can’t wait to play in front of the fans and feel the atmosphere at BORUSSIA-PARK,” said Tabaković. The 31-year-old will join the squad at their training camp at Tegernsee on Saturday.
