Guerreiro the latest doubt for Bayern’s clash with Augsburg

The Portuguese international was not spotted in team training today leading to suspicions regarding his availability.

Fears regarding the fitness of Raphael Guerreiro have increased after the Portuguese star missed out on training this afternoon.

German tabloid Sport BILD reported that the full-back trained individually at Sabener Strasse.

Vincent Kompany has already been shorthanded by long-term injuries sustained by Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito in recent weeks.

Davies suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear representing Canada, while Ito limped off with a broken metatarsal against St.Pauli on Saturday.

Should Guerreiro miss out on Friday against Augsburg, the Bavarian giants will likely have to play one of Josip Stanisic or Sacha Boey at left-back.
