Former Arsenal and Sweden midfielder Anders Limpar believes Viktor Gyokeres will move to the Premier League in 2025.
Gyokeres has emerged as one of Europe’s deadliest strikers over the past 12 months and he already has 40 goal contributions in just 24 games for club and country so far this season.
His form at Sporting CP has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, with a move to the Premier League on the cards in 2025.

The 26-year-old has played down rumours of a switch to Man Utd during the January window, following reports that he could follow Ruben Amorim to Old Trafford, but a move next summer is plausible.
Gyokeres currently has a €100 million release clause in his Sporting contract, however The Transfers Podcast understands he could be allowed to leave the Lisbon giants for a fee in the region of €80m.

What has been said?
Ex-Arsenal midfielder Limpar heaped praise on Gyokeres during an interview with Swedish outlet FotbollDirekt and he admitted that a transfer to a Premier League giants is the logical next step for the Sporting star.
“I know Gyokeres very well personally, I was a bit of a mentor for him when he played for Brommapojkarna,” Limpar said.
“He’s a fantastically hardworking forward who scores a lot of goals.
“If we at Arsenal [were to] buy Gyokeres, then he will definitely call me. But then to see Gyokeres at Arsenal, that would be crazy.
“His work rate, he runs like a madman. When it doesn’t work out for Viktor, he works his way into the game with uncomfortable runs.
“When other top forwards aren’t doing well, they don’t work so hard for the team, they save their energy, Viktor never saves his energy. When things are a bit slow, he works his way into a game with runs, that’s why it has gone so well,” Limpar added.
“We have to remember that the Portuguese league is inferior to the Premier League, but when Manchester City came to visit Lisbon, he scored a hat-trick, so he’s fully capable of scoring in England.
“He has played for Coventry and scored goals, he knows the English mentality.
“I think his next step is to play in the Premier League and he can really choose which team he wants to play in.”
