Harry Kane has become the fastest player to score 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues following his brace for Bayern Munich on Friday night.

The England international scored twice against Werder Bremen to reach a century of goals in just 104 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.

In the process, Kane eclipsed the current record held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland. The former scored 100 goals in his first 105 games for Real Madrid, while the latter matched this feat upon his arrival at Manchester City.

However, a first-half penalty and a close-range strike in the 65th minute helped Kane set a new European record by reaching 100 goals for Bayern Munich in only 104 matches for the club.

Harry Kane sets new European record

Ronaldo first set the record for the fastest player to score 100 goals for a single club in Europe’s top five leagues when he reached a century for Real Madrid back in November 2011.

Haaland then matched the Portugal legend by scoring against his former club Borussia Dortmund on his 105th appearance for Man City.

Kane has now surpassed both players and he holds the outright record.

The England captain scored 44 goals during a stellar debut campaign at Bayern, following a €95 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur, while he backed that up by netting on 41 occasions last season.

Kane’s goalscoring form has unsurprisingly continued in 2025-26 and he has already scored 15 goals in eight games across all competitions for Bayern this term.

In addition to his record as the fastest player to reach 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues, Kane is also the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England. He scored 280 times in 435 games for Tottenham, while he has notched an incredible 74 goals in 109 caps for England.
