Harry Kane was left sprawling on the turf after a head clash with Piero Hincapie during Bayern Munich‘s goalless draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
As a free-kick was swung into the box, Kane climbed the ladder to battle for an aerial duel before his jaw made contact with Hincapie’s shoulder.
The Leverkusen defender had words for Kane as he laid on the floor, but escaped any punishment for his reckless attempt to win the ball.
Kane was quickly attended to by club physios after the nasty collision, which left him clutching at his jaw for the minutes following.
It took a few minutes of treatment for the England captain to recover back up to his feet and see out the final moments of a frustrating first half for the Bundesliga table-toppers.
15 minutes later, Bayern fans would have been relieved to see their No 9 run out of the tunnel to play the next 45 minutes of the game.

After the goalless draw, Bayern still lead Bayer Leverkusen by eight points in the Bundesliga
Although Vincent Kompany’s side could not forge a winning goal, they maintain a healthy lead at the top of the Bundesliga, clearing Leverkusen by eight points.
They will now shift their attention to the second leg of their Champions League playoff clash with Celtic.
Bayern left Celtic Park with a 2-1 lead after the first leg, and will attempt to see off the Scottish champions at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
After completing a full 90 minutes against Leverkusen, there are no signs Kane will be unavailable for his side’s next European showdown.
Bayern will need their frontman firing. Kane is their top goalscorer this season, both domestically and in Europe.
England’s all-time leading scorer tops the Bundesliga scoring chart with 21 goals, and has netted the fourth-most in the 2024-25 Champions League campaign.
The German giants are well-positioned to win their 12th Bundesliga title in 13 seasons, after their 11-year streak as champions was halted by Bayer Leverkusen last term.
A trophy this season with Bayern would be Kane’s first in his illustrious 15-year career.
