Bild reports that Harry Kane is not involved in Bayern’s final training session ahead of Saturday’s clash with Augsburg.
Harry Kane is not taking part in Bayern Munich’s final training session ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Augsburg, according to Bild.
The striker is not expected to miss the game, however, with the German tabloid noting that his absence is simply part of a load-management plan following Wednesday’s 3-2 DFB-Pokal win over Wehen Wiesbaden.
Kane is therefore expected to be included in the squad for Bayern’s clash at the WWK-Arena on Saturday evening.
This aligns with Bayern coach Vincent Kompany’s comments at a press conference earlier on Friday, where he said that “everyone who was involved last time is fine.”
Kane has scored six goals in three competitive appearances this season.
