22-year-old Luca Kerber will join FC Heidenheim from Saarbrücken in the summer.
1. FC Heidenheim have completed the signing of Luca Kerber from 3. Liga side FC Saarbrücken.
The 22-year-old central midfielder joins the Bundesliga side on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
Kerber has been a key part of a Saarbrücken side that sensationally reached the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, and his performances in the cup caught the eye of Heidenheim.
“Luca is a young and highly talented player who can now look back on over one hundred games in the 3. Liga and has also made a name for himself in this year’s DFB-Pokal,” said Heidenheim’s sporting director Robert Strauß.
“We are delighted that Luca has chosen our FCH and are convinced that he can become an important part of our team.
