18-year-old Luka Vuskovic quickly established himself at the heart of Hamburger SV’s defence following his loan move from Tottenham during the summer transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac, whose team will face Vuskovic and HSV on Saturday, is hugely impressed by his Croatian countryman.
“He’s a huge talent – that was already clear during his youth days at Hajduk Split,” Kovac said at a press conference on Friday.
“He made a good move to Tottenham, and now he’s at HSV alongside his brother (Mario, editor’s note).
“With his quality, he can already contribute to the team at a young age. Sooner or later, he will surely become an important part of the Croatian national team.”
