It’s no secret that Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to bolster their attacking options, with neither Elye Wahi nor Michy Batshuayi part of the club’s plans.

According to Frankfurter Rundschau, Eintracht have set their sights on TSG Hoffenheim’s Max Moerstedt. The 19-year-old forward has reportedly already received an offer from the Eagles and now has to decide whether to extend his contract with Hoffenheim or make the move to Frankfurt.

Since Moerstedt is contracted to Hoffenheim until 2027, any transfer would also require an agreement between the clubs.

According to reports, VfB Stuttgart considered Moerstedt as a replacement for Nick Woltemade last summer, with a deal worth a reported €15 million on the table, but Hoffenheim blocked the move at the time.

Moerstedt, a German U20 international, has yet to start a game for Hoffenheim this season.

In addition to Moerstedt, Frankfurt are also pursuing William Osula, hoping to bring the Newcastle United striker in on loan with an option to buy.
