Gift Orban is nearing a move back to Ligue 1 after a short spell at TSG Hoffenheim.
TSG Hoffenheim started the new season with plenty of promise. Despite Adam Hlozek’s injury setback, the squad is stacked in the attacking department. That leads to a discussion of offloading a recent recruit.
Gift Orban only joined the club at the start of the year on a transfer fee that could rise to €20 million, but he’s now set to join Toulouse on an initial loan deal. The Nigerian striker scored four Bundesliga goals in 13 appearances.
He was out of Hoffenheim’s squad in yesterday’s cup win in Hansa Rostock, and it’s reported that the clubs agreed on a loan deal that will have an “option to buy” clause for the Ligue 1 club. Orban already played in the French league during his short spell with Olympique Lyonnais.
