How Jobe Bellingham is taking extra steps to find form at Borussia Dortmund

As reported by Sport Bild, Jobe Bellingham is putting in extra work to improve and earn more playing time at Borussia Dortmund.

Jobe Bellingham has yet to make his mark for Borussia Dortmund following his summer move from Sunderland for around €30 million.

Despite this, Dortmund’s management remain calm and have a clear plan for the 20-year-old, who is working hard to improve, according to Sport Bild.

The report states that Bellingham is taking part in extra sessions and specialised training, staying after team practices for individual exercises with and without the ball under the guidance of the assistant coaches.

The youngster is also among the players with the highest fitness levels in Niko Kovac’s squad, further reinforcing the club’s confidence that he will eventually make his breakthrough.

For Dortmund’s leadership, it comes as no surprise that Bellingham has needed time to adapt after moving from the English Championship.

According to Sport Bild, club chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke held a conversation with Bellingham in late September, stressing that he will remain a key part of the club’s plans.
