Albert Sambi Lokonga completed his medical at Hamburger SV as the club await the final result before deciding to sign the player.
Sky’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Hamburg went ahead with their pursuit of signing Albert Sambi Lokonga from Arsenal. The Belgian completed his medical examination earlier today, but the results are expected by tomorrow morning.
HSV have yet to decide on signing the player, pending the full medical results. Lokonga played 51 Premier League games for Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Luton Town.
He spent the previous season on loan at Sevilla, where he struggled to make an impact because of consistent hamstring injuries.
