An Arsenal player has revealed what a typical day looks like in the life of a professional footballer after posting a video online.
Colombian goalkeeper, Alexei Rojas, who plays for the Gunners’ U19 side, took to TikTok to document his daily routine.
Rojas, 19, shared to his 20,000 followers on the social media platform that he begins his day by leaving his house at 8am to arrive at Arsenal’s training ground in London Colney, Hertfordshire, for 8:15am.
He then he has a large breakfast consisting of an omelette and avocado on toast with yoghurt and berries before going into pre-training workouts – followed up by the main session itself.
After training, he takes part in an upper body strength session before taking a break to tuck into lunch followed by an ice bath.
In the afternoon, he has one regular activity that may come as a surprise, given it is not typically associated with the athletic demands of being a footballer.

The goalkeeper then has another snack, consisting of granola, yoghurt and berries – explaining that it essential for him to consume high quantities of protein each day.
After leaving London Colney at 4pm, Rojas spends time with his family prior to relaxing in the spa and hot tub at his local David Lloyd gym – which is followed by him having dinner and heading to bed around 10pm.
Reacting to the video in the comments section, some users questioned why he would choose to learn Portuguese if he currently plays for a Premier League club.
One user asked: ‘Why Portuguese?’
Giving an answer in the comments, another responded: ‘Maybe he has proposal from there, or sees the Portuguese league as a possibilty for his future’.
A third added: ‘Portuguese is also a very common language in Brazil, and Arsenal have a large Brazilian culture, not to mention the large Brazilian cb he’d play with if he made the first team.’
