Injury update for Bayern’s talisman Lennart Karl

Here is a quick injury update on Bayern’s talisman Lennart Karl, who played a superb game against Freiburg before leaving the pitch with a hip injury.

17-year old Lennart Karl has not only been a great talent for Bayern – but also already a consistent and important player when given the chance in the starting eleven.

Karl played a great game against Freiburg and was involved in the first two Bayern goals: he scored the first and assisted the second for Olise. In the 70th minute however, the young talent had to leave the pitch after receiving a knock on the hip.

Here is what he said directly after the game: “It should not be anything searious – I got a knock on the hip in training yesterday and I just felt it a lot after another one in the game, that’s all.”

Karl could well be an option again when Bayern face off against Arsenal mid-week in the Champions League.
