Insigne waiting for his next club: the truth on Fiorentina

Lorenzo Insigne first opened talks with Lazio in July, and recent rumours about a possible move to Fiorentina are unconfirmed.

Insigne’s move to Lazio remains an option as the Biancocelesti and the Italian winger opened talks in July, as Football Italia exclusively reported back then.

Insigne’s free transfer to the Stadio Olimpico still depends on several factors, but the game remains open, and for this reason, the ex-Napoli winger has recently rejected some offers.

Other media have reported talks between the 34-year-old and Fiorentina, but sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that those rumours are not true.

To be fair, Insigne was offered to the Tuscans last summer, but there hasn’t been a new contact between the two parties in recent weeks, and it would be surprising if the situation were to change in the coming days.

Insigne hopes that his long wait can finish with a new club that matches his ambition.
