Luis Suarez appeared to bite someone once again on a soccer pitch – and this time it was his Inter Miami teammate Jordi Alba.
Miami were facing LAFC on Wednesday in the second leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal when chaos ensued towards the end of the game, following a rash tackle on Lionel Messi.
LA’s Marlon Santos was booked for the challenge and the two sides began pushing and shoving one another, with Alba and Suarez among those to get involved in the fracas.
At one point, Suarez felt a hand on his upper chest and briefly nibbled on it- seemingly believing it was an LAFC player next to him.
However, the hand actually belonged to Alba and the left back looked to be in pain afterwards as Olivier Giroud also grabbed ahold of him.
Ultimately, the match finished in Miami’s favor as they won 3-2 on aggregate.

Suarez, of course, is a repeat offender when it comes to biting others on the field.
His first biting incident dates back to his days at Ajax, when he bit PSV’s Otman Bakkal in 2010.
He was banned seven games by the Dutch Football Federation afterwards, and was also fined by his own club.
Suarez later bit Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic during a Premier League game in 2013, while the Uruguayan was playing for Liverpool.
That resulted in a 10-match ban from the English FA, though he apparently didn’t learn his lesson as he infamously bit Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup the following year.

Following that shocking scene – which saw Chiellini pull his shirt down to reveal bite marks on his shoulder – Suarez was banned from football activity for four months by FIFA.
The striker hit the ground running last season after joining Messi at Inter Miami, scoring 20 league goals in just 21 starts.
This season, he’s scored just once in seven starts thus far, though he’s contributed five assists as well.
Miami drew 0-0 on Sunday with the Chicago Fire.
