Marcus Thuram’s €85m release clause expires today, according to reports in Italy.
There’s some good news for Inter fans as the release clause of their star striker, Thuram, worth €85m, expires today.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, if no club matches Thuram’s clause by the end of the day, Inter will have way more power for the remainder of the summer transfer campaign, as any interested club would need to negotiate an entirely new transfer fee with them.
Thuram joined Inter on a free transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2023 and has won one Serie A title and one Supercoppa Italiana so far.
More Inter release clauses
The France international has netted 33 times in 96 appearances across all competitions with the Nerazzurri.
Thuram’s contract with Inter expires in 2028.
Another Inter player has an active release clause in his contract, Denzel Dumfries.
The Dutch defender can cost up to €30m this summer, but his release clause expires on July 15.
