Itakura to replace Tuta at Eintracht Frankfurt?

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly looking into the possibility of replacing Tuta with Ko Itakura.

With Tuta on the verge of joining Qatari side Al-Duhail, Eintracht Frankfurt are seeking a replacement.

According to Absolut Fussball, Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Ko Itakura has emerged as a candidate to replace the Brazilian centre-back. 

Frankfurt are believed to have made contact with the Japanese international, but it remains to be seen whether they’ve acted in time. Ajax have reportedly already agreed personal terms with the defender.

With Itakura in the final year of his contract, a €10 million fee would likely be enough to prompt Gladbach to sell.
