Jadon Sancho latest as Juventus offer former PL star to Manchester United

Reports from Italy claim that Juventus are open to sending former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz to Manchester United, in hopes it will help them get a deal for Jadon Sancho over the line.

According to what has been reported by the Corriere dello Sport, a swap deal involving Douglas Luiz and Sancho is one of two options that the Bianconeri believe will tempt the Red Devils into accepting.

Juventus offer Luiz or cash for Sancho

The reports suggest that alternatively to a player swap, the Old Lady are willing to cough up €25 million plus bonuses for the English winger, who spent last season on loan with Chelsea.

The Blues chose not to make Sancho’s stay in the English capital a permanent one and United are eager to offload the player to help finance their own transfer window.

The fee is not the only hurdle, however, with Sancho’s reported wage demand of €8 million per season above the €6-7 million that the Bianconeri wish to offer (putting him on a par with new signing Jonathan David).

Juventus would ideally like to remove the €12 million per season they pay to Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic – which would essentially cover the wages of both David and Sancho.
