Jamal Musiala has taken a major step towards returning to action for Bayern Munich.
The attacking midfielder, who has been sidelined since suffering a broken fibula at the Club World Cup last summer, resumed partial team training on Tuesday.
According to Bild, Musiala participated in warm-ups and light passing drills, but wasn’t involved in any physical duels for the ball.
If all goes according to plan, the German international should be able to make his long-awaited return in January following the winter break.
Bayern have just one more game before the break: Sunday’s Bundesliga clash with 1. FC Heidenheim.
