Joe Gomez has not travelled with the Liverpool squad to Ipswich today as the defender is considering his options.
The 27-year-old is open to a new challenge in his quest for regular first-team football, with strong competition from the likes of Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate.
He saw a potential £45million move to Newcastle United fall through last month as part of negotiations around the deal for Anthony Gordon.
Gomez signed for Liverpool from Charlton in 2015 for a fee of £3.5million and has since made 248 appearances.
