Jose Mourinho SENT OFF against Manchester United for protesting against decision to turn down Fenerbahce penalty appeal

Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands against his former club Manchester United after the Fenerbahce boss protested a refereeing decision.

Mourinho was shown a red card by referee Clement Turpin after the hosts saw a penalty appeal turned down.

The Fenerbahce manager led the Turkish club’s protests against the decision with the score level at 1-1 on the night.

Several Fenerbahce substitutes had joined Mourinho in demanding a penalty.

The home side had reacted with anger after seeing their appeals waved away by Turpin after Bright Osayi-Samuel went down under a challenge by Manuel Ugarte.
