New signings Jonathan David, Lois Openda and Ange-Yoan Bonny will be hoping to match a feat previously achieved by the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto’o when they take part in their first Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter on Saturday evening

The Bianconeri host the Nerazzurri at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening with kick-off scheduled for 17.00 BST. You can follow all the pre-match build-up, in-game coverage and post-match reactions on the Football Italia Liveblog.

Which players have scored in first ever Juventus-Inter appearance?

Several players could take part in their first Derby d’Italia on Saturday: For Juventus, the list includes David, Openda, Joao Mario, but not Edon Zhegrova, who is coming off the back of a nine-month injury lay-off.

For Inter, the list includes Bonny, Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, Andy Diouf and Manuel Akanji.

They will all be looking to join a list of 19 players to have scored in their first every Derby d’Italia appearance.

For Juventus, the list of previous first-time Derby d’Italia goalscorers is made up of Nicolo Fagioli, Mirko Vucinic, Alessandro Matri, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Trezeguet, Zinedine Zidane, Andreas Moller and Roberto Baggio.

2005

For Inter, the list includes Piotr Zielinski, Mauro Icardi, Rodrigo Palacio, Samuel Eto’o, Sulley Muntari, Julio Cruz, Igor Shalimov, Matthias Sammer, Ruben Sosa, Jurgen Klinsmann and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Zielinski and Fagioli are the only two players to have achieved the feat in the 2020s. Zielinski, who scored in the 4-4 draw between Inter and Juventus last season, is the most recent player to have done so.
