Friday’s reports claim that Juventus are considering raiding Atalanta again in the summer transfer window, as three Dea stars in Ederson, Ademola Lookman and Mateo Retegui are all currently of interest to the Bianconeri.
After spending around €60m to sign Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta last summer, in a window that also saw the arrivals of Douglas Luiz, Khephren Thuram, Nico Gonzalez, Francisco Conceicao, Pierre Kalulu and Juan Cabal, there could be another busy transfer window in Turin coming up.
Juventus need Koopmeiners-type offer for Lookman or Ederson
Recent reports claim that Lookman could leave Atalanta this summer, particularly after a public falling-out with coach Gian Piero Gasperini over a missed penalty in the club’s Champions League exit a few weeks ago.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Lookman would be an ideal fit for Thiago Motta’s system at Juve, but adds that the Bianconeri will face stiff competition from a number of Premier League clubs.
It is a similar situation for Ederson, who has been linked with a move to a number of Europe’s top clubs over the past year, including the likes of Manchester City, United and Liverpool.
The Pink Paper claims that for both players, it would take an offer similar to the one that brought Koopmeiners to the Allianz Stadium stadium last year.

Retegui offers Juventus two advantages
Juve’s striker situation means that Retegui is also a viable option heading into the summer transfer window.
Randal Kolo Muani is currently the first choice, but Juventus do not have a buy option in his loan deal from PSG, which means they will have to renegotiate terms if they wish to keep him beyond the summer.
There is also a growing possibility that Dusan Vlahovic is sold in order to raise funds for new arrivals, such as Retegui, who has been in fine goalscoring form in Serie A since joining Atalanta from Genoa last summer.
Retegui’s goalscoring ability in Serie A is the obvious attraction, but the fact that he is an Italy international is an added bonus for the Bianconeri, who reportedly want to strengthen their relationship between themselves and the national team.

Juventus had followed Retegui ahead of the summer transfer window last year, but were beaten to his signature by Atalanta.
