The Bianconeri can only commit themselves to a loan deal, but including a mandatory obligation to buy in case of Champions League qualification.

After the latest round of talks, Juventus are reportedly convinced that they can persuade Genoa to sell, but the Grifone’s asking price remains quite high, at circa €25m, as Arsenal have a 20% sell-on clause on their ex-defender.

The January window is nearly over, and Juventus are still looking for a reinforcement for Luciano Spalletti.

The Bianconeri are busy on two fronts as they are in talks for a new centre-forward, with Randal Kolo Muani now being the main target, and a new right wing-back.

Norton-Cuffy has long been on the Bianconeri’s agenda and their interest in the Englishman has only grown since Marco Ottolini, Genoa’s former sporting director, was appointed by Juventus at the beginning of January.
