The Ghana international is into the final year of his current deal in north London, and FootballTransfers understands he will not be offered an extension.

As a result, Partey is expected to leave Arsenal in 2025 and we have been informed that Mikel Arteta’s side could even look to sell him during the January transfer window.

EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal could sell Partey in January after Merino signing

With Partey set to be available on a free transfer next summer, multiple top European clubs have registered their interest in signing him.

Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus are all keen on the 31-year-old, with the latter willing to offer Partey a three-year deal, as per CaughtOffside.

Thiago Motta’s side reportedly hold the most concrete interest in Partey as they look to bolster their central midfield options.

Douglas Luiz was signed from Aston Villa this summer, however Juventus are seemingly still in the market for a new midfielder and they have identified Partey as a potential target.

In addition, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal are also interested in Partey, although it remains to be seen if he will opt to remain in Europe or if he will be persuaded by the financial allure of the Saudi Pro League.

Arsenal’s midfield options

While Partey is set to leave Arsenal next year, Arteta is determined to retain the services of Jorginho.

The Italy midfielder is yet to feature so far this season, but he remains a key player at the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal will not sanction an exit, despite recent interest from Galatasaray.

Furthermore, summer signing Mikel Merino is expected to return to full fitness in October after suffering a shoulder injury during his first training session with the club.

The Spain international joined Arsenal for €32 million from Real Sociedad after his impressive form at Euro 2024.
