Juventus reject Marcus Rashford, want his teammate instead

Juventus have turned down the opportunity to land Marcus Rashford from Manchester United at the turn of the year, according to Fichajes.

The England international has fallen down the pecking order under manager Ruben Amorim. He has been dropped for the last four games.

Amorim is far from impressed with Rashford’s output in training and the Portuguese has apparently opened the door for his winter exit.

The Bianconeri were one of the clubs offered the opportunity to land Rashford, but they have swiftly turned down the proposal.

Juventus are aiming to bolster their attack in the New Year, but they prefer to sign Joshua Zirkzee on an initial loan from the Red Devils.

Zirkzee has been disappointing with only four goals since his summer move to United. The Bianconeri are prepared to offer him an escape route.

It is highly unlikely that United will entertain any offers for Zirkzee. They could wait until the summer before deciding on his future.
