Juventus crashed out of the Champions League and Coppa Italia, but are still celebrating after going from €95m losses to a profit of €16.9m.

The Bianconeri are struggling badly on the field with surprise eliminations in the Champions League play-off to PSV Eindhoven in extra time, then to Empoli on a penalty shoot-out in the Coppa Italia quarter-final last night.

Off the field, things are going considerably better for the Old Lady, who today approved the balance sheet for the first six months of the financial year.

The club was running at a profit of €16.9m, which was a massive improvement on the tremendous losses of €95.1m registered at this stage in 2023-24.

The difference was largely down to the fact Juventus participated in the new and improved Champions League this season.

They had been excluded from the tournament last year due to financial irregularities, having also been docked Serie A points.

Their qualification boosted revenue by 53 per cent, going from €190.6m to €291.6m in the first six months of this season.
