Juventus striker is the only Serie A player to feature in Europe’s top 20 best paid footballers in 2026 – Football Italia

Juventus’s Dusan Vlahovic is currently the only Serie A player to feature in the list of the 20 highest paid footballers in Europe’s top five leagues according to the latest information. 

Juventus’s Vlahovic is Serie A’s highest paid player

According to the latest information from transfermarkt.it, Vlahovic is currently the seventh-highest paid player across Europe’s top five leagues in terms of gross salary.

Juventus currently pay the Serbian €22.2m per year in gross salary. It is widely believed that the 26-year-old takes home a net salary of around €12m per year after tax and deductions. This equates to a weekly take home of just over €230,000 per week (net).

Only six players in Europe are currently paid higher than Vlahovic is in the final year of his Juventus contract. They are Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, Real Madrdi’s Vinicius Jr., Liverpool’s Mohames Salah and Real Madrid’s David Alaba. 

Vlahovic currently earns more than the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Robert Lewandowski, Jude Bellingham, Ousmane Dembele and Bruno Fernandes. 

The next highest-paid player currently competing in Serie A is Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. With a reported gross salary of €16.67m per year at Inter, El Toro ranks as the 25th-best paid player in Europe’s top five leagues as things stand.
