Juventus are preparing for an important Serie A match against Como on Saturday, when they host Cesc Fabregas’ side at the Allianz Stadium in what could prove to be a decisive six-pointer in the race for European football.

According to the latest reports from Alfredo Pedulla, Brazilian defender Bremer and Canadian forward Jonathan David trained separately from the rest of the team in the run-up to the match.

Both, therefore, are major doubts for the match against Como and Luciano Spalletti will have to adjust his squad accordingly.

Bad news piles up for Juventus as Bremer & David to miss Como match

Juventus have not had a good week – suffering a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Galatasaray on Tuesday in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off round.

Now, they must get refocused for Saturday’s league match – with Como just four points behind Juventus as both teams chase Champions League football.

With Italian clubs’ overall underperformance in Europe this season, it looks unlikely that there will be a 5th Champions League spot given to Serie A this campaign.

Therefore, fourth place becomes even more valuable and Juventus and Como are amongst the sides that will be tussling for that coveted spot until the campaign is over.
