Two Juventus players returned to first-team training on Tuesday ahead of the Champions League clash with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, and there was also space in Igor Tudor’s session for two players from the Next Gen and Promavera side.

Juventus will take on 15-time Champions League victors Real Madrid in the Spanish capital on Wednesday night, as an under-pressure Tudor looks to bounce back from his first defeat of the campaign over the weekend.

Juventus enjoyed a positive start to the 2025-26 campaign, but have since gone without a win in any competition since September 13.

According to reports from Turin-based outlet Tuttosport, both Fabio Miretti and Edon Zhegrova returned to full first-team training on Tuesday ahead of the Real Madrid clash.

Miretti has not featured for Juventus since returning from his loan spell with Genoa last term following an injury he picked up in an internal friendly against the Next Gen side over the summer.

Zhegrova, who missed over nine months of action earlier this year, has also returned to the first-team group after missing out on the last two fixtures with muscular fatigue.

According to Tuesday’s reports, Next Gen defender Pedro Felipe, who could earn first-team opportunities in the absence of Gleison Bremer, has also returned form his recent injury set-back.

Additionally, Tudor also involved players from the Next Gen and Primavera squads ahead of Real Madrid. 19-year-old midfielder Francesco Crapisto and 16-year-old centre-back Maxime De Brul were the ones called up to join in with the first team.
