Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz will miss Sunday’s Serie A game against Inter due to a muscle injury, but Andrea Cambiaso returned to group training today, and Lloyd Kelly will be available despite gastroenteritis.

Juventus trained at Continassa this morning, two days before a big Serie A game against Inter on Sunday.

Romeo Agresti reported that Douglas Luiz sustained a muscle injury during a training session on Thursday and will, therefore, miss the upcoming league fixture.

The Brazilian has been struggling for playing time this season but started in the latest Champions League match against PSV on Tuesday.

Douglas Luiz has made 14 Serie A appearances for Juventus this term, starting three times and making 11 substitute appearances. Overall, he has participated in 21 matches across all competitions.

However, Andrea Cambiaso returned to Juventus group training today, and there’s a good chance to see him available after missing the last four games across all competitions.

Kelly didn’t train with the rest of the team today due to gastroenteritis, but Agresti said he will be available for Sunday’s game against Inter.
