Thomas Muller has given his reaction to his side drawing Arsenal in the Champions League, issuing a warning to his Germany team-mate Kai Havertz.

Bayern Munich and Arsenal will meet in the quarter-finals after being drawn against each other on Friday morning.

Muller quickly took to social media to respond to the news, posting a video message.

‘And it’s Arsenal,’ the veteran midfielder said. ‘Kai Havertz my friend… I am waiting for you.

‘No it’s a nice draw, two very good teams. Two very good stadiums, two very good cities. Yeah it will be tough but I am always positive. See you Gunners!’

The Gunners will host the German side – who signed England captain Harry Kane for £100million in August – at the Emirates in the first leg on April 9/10 before heading to Allianz Arena.

The two sides have a history in the competition and they aren’t the fondest memories for the Arsenal faithful.

Bayern have won all of of their last three meetings by a scoreline of 5-1 and were the last side to knock the north London club out of the Champions League back in 2017.
