What did Havertz say?

“Erik ten Hag was there for a couple of years, and, obviously, when a new manager comes in, they change their style of play, they change their system, they change their players, so there are going to be a lot of different things on the pitch now,” the Arsenal and Germany forward claimed on Sky Sports.

“But I think for us, the main thing is to focus on ourselves. We believe in our strengths, and we want to play our best game.

“When we play our best game, I think nothing can stop us, and that’s what we want to do.”

Havertz has been a key player for Arsenal this season, scoring nine goals and delivering one assist in 19 games in all competitions.

However, his form dropped in October and November in terms of goals after a brilliant start to the season.

Havertz refound his form in the last week, scoring in the big wins over Sporting Lisbon and West Ham as Arsenal put five goals past both opponents away from home.

Arsenal need a win against Man Utd on Wednesday as they aim to chase down league leaders Liverpool.

The Reds are the runaway leaders at the top of the Premier League as they are nine points clear of Arsenal and Chelsea in joint-second place.

Liverpool face a difficult away match at Newcastle on Wednesday.
