Harry Kane has decided that he won’t make use of his release clause for next summer, which expires at the end of January, reports BILD.

For the striker, winning other trophies at Bayern has priority over a return to England in order to break the Premier League goal scoring record.

As for the rumours regarding a switch to FC Barcelona, a potential move was never seriously discussed.

The Bavarian giants are planning to approach Kane with a newly proposed contract after the release clause expires.

Meanwhile, Kane can even imagine delaying the talks until after the World Cup given his current contract runs until 2027.

The popular German tabloid is aware that the club and the 32-year-old marksman are open to a one-year renewal until 2028.

Kane is currently the most influential weapon in Vincent Kompany’s team, having scored 28 goals and 3 assists in 23 games this season.
