Kane on Lennart Karl’s World Cup dream: “He has a chance”

Here’s what Bayern’s main marksman had to say about young star Lennart Karl and his own contract situation.

In an interview with Sport BILD, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane was full of praise for young talent Lennart Karl who continues to impress.

“He’s a fantastic player. He’s not afraid to dribble. He just has to keep working hard, and he’ll have a great future ahead of him

“Who knows, if he plays a bit more from now on and plays like he did today, then he has a chance,” Kane said, on Karl’s chance of making Germany’s World Cup squad. 

Regarding his own personal matters, Kane was asked about his own contract situation. The Englishman is in no rush knowing the time will come to sit down and discuss.

“The talks won’t take place next month, but maybe in the new year. We’ll discuss it then. We’re in a good position, I feel good.

“We’re not hectic. I’m not, and I don’t think the club is either,” the 32-year-old explained, suggesting an agreement will be reached.
