Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi has the preference to join Arsenal amid interest from Manchester United, according to The Mirror.
The German’s current deal with the Bundesliga giants expires in June 2027 and as things stand, they have yet to convince him to prolong his stay.
This could pave the way for a summer sale. United have already contacted the player’s agent Jorge Mendes regarding a potential move to Old Trafford.
However, they are set to be disappointed due to a couple of reasons.
The Red Devils have been quoted a price of around £75 million for the versatile attacker and they are unlikely to make such an outlay for his services.
On top of this, Adeyemi himself has no desire of joining the Mancunian giants.
He has reportedly informed the Dortmund hierarchy that he would prefer to join the Gunners if he were to choose a new challenge ahead of next season.
Arsenal are yet to express any interest in the former Red Bull Salzburg man.
