Milos Kerkez has admitted that a potential move to Liverpool ‘wouldn’t look bad’ and spilt the beans on his close relationship with Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Bournemouth left-back has been heavily associated with a transfer away from the South Coast since last summer. Kerkez has proved to be a brilliant signing for the Cherries since joining in 2023 and he looks destined for bigger and better things.
Man Utd viewed him as their top left-back target last year, but they couldn’t afford him and eventually signed Patrick Dorgu in January. Now, Liverpool are constantly getting linked with a summer move for Kerkez as club legend Andy Robertson is not getting any younger.

Fabrizio Romano has already confirmed that Liverpool are aiming to bet on ‘important talents’ going forward, starting with the all-but-guaranteed signing of a new centre-back in the summer.
Kerkez’s teammate Dean Huijsen is one of the options under serious consideration and a move for either – or both – would not come as a shock considering that Bournemouth‘s former recruitment chief Richard Hughes is the Reds’ sporting director.

Kerkez open to Liverpool move
Speaking to Nemzeti Sport, Kerkez addressed his future and his friendship with Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. “I’m just focused on playing and winning as many games as possible with my team. A lot can happen in football, but it’s pointless to predict,” he began.
However, when asked about potentially playing alongside Szoboszlai for the Reds, Kerkez admitted: “It wouldn’t look bad, that’s for sure. But it’s too early to talk about something like that. I have big goals with Bournemouth, we still have a lot of games to win, that’s the most important thing right now.”

“We get along really well off the field,” Kerkez said of his relationship with the Liverpool star. “I try to pay attention to him because he needs attention, the poor thing!”
