Kiel are set to lose their talented Bosnian midfielder just two games into the 2.Bundesliga campaign.
Armin Gigović is expected to leave Holstein Kiel this summer with the player on the verge of a move to Young Boys.
Talks for the Bosnian midfielder are in an advanced stage according to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger.
A medical for the 23-year-old is expected to follow shortly, with Kiel set to receive between €1.5 and €2million.
The Swiss club have reportedly pulled the deal off by activating Gigović’s release clause in his current Kiel contract.
Last weekend, Gigović played 87 minutes and managed to score a goal in Kiel’s 2-1 defeat to SC Paderborn.
It will come as a second big loss for Die Störche in midfield considering Hamburger SV picked up Nicolai Remberg earlier this summer.
