With South Korea eliminated from the Asian Cup, Kim Min-jae could be in line to return to the Bayern Munich squad for Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Bild, the central defender will fly back to Munich on Wednesday afternoon, meaning he should be an option for Saturday.
His return could be key given Bayern’s long list of absentees. With Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Konrad Laimer all out, the Bavarians will be without three important defensive players.
The South Korea international is expected to replace Eric Dier and play alongside Matthijs de Ligt at the heart of defense.
