Joshua Kimmich was forced off with tendinitis in Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last Sunday, and reports have since suggested that the Germany captain is likely to the trip to Stuttgart on Friday.
Arriving for the premiere of a documentary about Thomas Müller on Tuesday night, Kimmich himself was asked if he thought he would play on Friday, and he simply replied: “I don’t think so.”
If Kimmich does indeed miss out, Leon Goretzka and Aleksandar Pavlovic are likely to form Bayern’s midfield pairing on Friday.
The 30-year-old hasn’t missed a single game for Bayern this season until now.
