Bayern Munich will make a late decision on Kim Minjae’s inclusion in their squad for Friday’s Bundesliga clash with Werder Bremen.
The South Korean centre-back is set to return to team training on Thursday after being forced off in last week’s 4-1 win over Hoffenheim.
“If all goes well in training today, he’ll be available to play against Bremen,” Bayern coach Vincent Kompany said at his pre-match press conference.
Jonas Urbig, meanwhile, remains sidelined, but could return to the squad as early as October 4 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
“If everything goes well, we’ll have Jonas Urbig available again for Frankfurt. That would be very quick, but he’s a fighter and I’m confident he can manage that,” Kompany added.
Josip Stanisic, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, and Hiroki Ito will remain out for the foreseeable future.
