Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on landing Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson this summer.
The Scotland international has been a mainstay for the Reds over several seasons. He has been an undisputed starter for the club.
However, his playing time could be limited in the forthcoming campaign with the Reds on the verge of landing Milos Kerkez.
Kerkez has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions, and he is expected to join from Bournemouth soon.
This could pave the way for the departure of Robertson as he may not want to play second fiddle, particularly in the Premier League.
Atletico were initially keen on landing Theo Hernandez from AC Milan, but they have now earmarked Robertson as the top left-back target.
The 31-year-old will enter the last year of his Liverpool contract next month and could be available for a cut-price fee this summer.
Diego Simeone‘s side plan to make a formal approach soon.
